i installed a new skin..how 2 restart the products

Hey
I installed a new theme but the products thta i have are not working
I think i have to restart the product for it to take affect?
i uninstalled one n installed it again and then it worked on the new theme, but i dont wnat to do it for every one of them as i lose data

re-edit the templates that they made you edit when you installed them
