Myspace Link in postbit.....

I would like to see some sort of myspace link to your profile displayed in the postbit someplace.....

Actually it wouldn't Here's how:

In AdminCP go to User Profile Fields > Add New User Profile Field > single lined text box and
Title: Myspace Profile
Description: http://www.myspace.com/username <--- replace with your myspace username

Leave the rest and click on Save at the bottom. Note the field number when you are done (i.e. field5).

Now add it as a condition to your postbit like this:

find something like:

$post[iplogged]

Add this after:

<if condition="$post['field5']"><a target="_blank" href="http://www.myspace.com/$post[field5]"> 
<img border="0" src="http://www.yoursite.com/images/myspace.jpg" alt="View myspace profile"></a>
</if>

Remember to change field5 to whatever the field number is that you've setup. This will only show for users that have it filled out in their profile. Also, here is the image that I used for this

This worked good, although it made it own column under the reputation, ip icons......how can i have this on the same column as those?

Oh yeah, good catch. That's calling a custom class, I forgot that I had that in there.

You should make a plugin of this, im sure alot of people would use it.

It's not really a modification as much as it is a configuration. Maybe I'll post it up as a how to.

BTW, I removed the div tags from my original post. Thanks for pointing that out RDX1.
