Expire Attachments Hack Anyone?

What I need is:

Whenever a user post an attachment/image to:
1. Expire/remove the attachment after x amount of days automatically
2. Write in the thread Attachment Expired automatically

Let me know the price to do this in 3.5.4 version ?

Would like to get this doen ASAP
