How can I do this?
HI,
I've already asked this on VB's forum, but didn't get back anything I can follow. If I'm going to be able to do this, I'd need to be guided through the process. I'd really appreciate any help given. This looks like quite a complicated one, but I'd love to be able to do it. I'd like to be able to remove the menu bar with all the login info, and make it into a menu for me to put in the left column. Where the menu is I'd like to be able to put a welcome message (including it showing the latest amount of members and topics). I'd also like the menu and the welcome messages to change accordingly, when you logged in or not. I've got examples of exactly what I want to create here: http://www.warwickshireonline.com/extra/example/ This is the current state of my website here: www.warwickshireonline.com Thank you in advance for you help. |

Mainly by posting in the right section, reported the post - a mod should move it I guess.
Anyway, for that welcome message; it's just a combination of vB's phrases and the standard variables in the stats showing at the bottom, take a look at it's template and combine them as you like. |

Is this not a design modification?

Its a simple Template modification.
No hacks are needed to do this. |
