Community License
Here is my situation. I'm working on a website that will supply streamed video tutorials to paid subscribers. If a large group or school were to purchased a "Community License" for everyone their. I would like to be able to hand out one license number to that group. During the registration process their would be a text field to enter any community license codes that they might have.
Example... So company ABC purchases a 1 year community license (or subscription). A few hundred users within that group would register at the forum, each user would enter the one license number, and if correct, their account (usergroup) would be upgraded for the period of time that company ABC has purchased a subscription for (in this case... 1 year). After which time, if ABC doesn't continue their community subscription, all users within that group would be demoted to a normal registered account. Now, I can't remember where I've seen this, I'm trying to find it again. But one vBulletin forum that I've seen used a system like this. A person could enter a promotional code, and if correct they would gain extra features or discounts. Any thoughts on how to do this? I would appreciate any comments, I think this would be a great add-on to vBulletin. Thanks, Paul |

your PATH's are off in.
tutorials/config-int.php $data_dir - make sure there is a slash @ the end of the URL. |
