Post Summaries on index page

I have Vbulletin working on my site located @

./forum/index.php

on my /index.php

I would like to have

1. Post names + Summary + Reply count number on the main page. Basically this will act as a new summary. I have a thread section call news, and I hope to pull in all new posts there to my index page.

2. I have a side bar, that I would like to also pull in the newest 5 posts from all forums. (Just the titles no summaries)

3. Finally login, and private messages on the front page as well. (This is not essential)
