Hi folks, i first asked this at vb.com and they suggested it may be a coding issue.
I have made another usergroup called 'ftp and server admin'. They have been given the same acp permissions as admin. They will have their own room to keep sensitive passwords for example. I still want admin to have the ability to change a users usergroup but i dont want them to be able to change themselves from 'admin' to 'ftp and server admin'. Is this possible. |

Don't allow them to admin users.

I need them to allow admin users.

Then they are free to change that usergroup
![]() Though, you could make your admins unalterable via config.php, then they will not be able to edit their profiles. |

is there a better way because i want them to be able to change member usergroup but can't add themselves to certain group? they can change their own profile too but not the usergroup they're in.
