I had previously installed a ban inform hack (forget which one). Obviously now I dont need it but I cant figure out how to get rid of this message. I've un-done everything in the instructions and dont see any customized tempaltes so mabye iI'm missing something.

could be a problem in your STANDARD_ERROR template

That template is umodified. I only have the usual ones like header, forumhome, footer, postbit etc that are modified, nothing that would appear to affect this page.

I'm so stupid. There was a line of code in my header for that message. Its gone now.
