is there an application to monitor for specific keywords?

I'm wondering if there is an extension or 3rd party app that can monitor vbulletin for specific keywords and email a user. Specifically I'd like to monitor a for sale forum (as a user on a board that I dont run) and be emailed when a specific for sale item is posted. Thanks for any ideas.
