new user registration e-mail

Hey,

I'm wondering if there is already a modification, which changes the permanent "new user notification" e-mail upon registration to a maybe "one-e-mail per day" notification with a list of all today registered users with there e-mail adresses and so on?

Would be nice, because it somehow bothers me getting that many e-mail notifications each day...
