Default vbSpell hack problems - anyone else have an idea on whats wrong?

Since I can't seem to get any support in the hack thread, I was hoping someone possibly a bit more advanced than the person who wrote the hack might be able to help me out. The hack uses a javascript file that is called upon and it's giving me an error. You're supposed to place a Spell Check button right next to the Submit button and that's what people click (and is where the error happens).

For more details about the problems I'm having, you can click here:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...&page=18&pp=15

I really would appreciate any help anyone can give. I've tried uinstalling and resinstalling this hack several times. And the coder who wrote it can't seem to give any useful feedback as far as what to look for or how to troubleshoot the issue. I really need to get this fixed soon. My members have come to depend on the Spell Check feature.

On a side note - I tried installing this hack because Pungo Spell was giving me a similar error. It seems the two hacks use a very similar (if not the same) javascript. Just wanted to share that before someone suggests trying that hack instead.

Any reason you cannot upgrade to 3.5 and use the builtin spellchecker?

I'm running 3.5.2, how do I enable the built-in spell checker?

I did contact the coder via PM. His reply to my problem was to ask me what templates I was having a problem with. When I told him, he said he did a fresh install and had no problems. OOOOOkay. That doesn't quite tell me what I should try next, does it? I've tried to get support in that thread with no luck. I'm trying a different approach to see if there might be a more advanced coder that can help, as obviously, the person who wrote it doesn't seem to know what's going wrong.

Can someone explain how the built-in spellchecker works? I've seen plenty of posts about it but can't figure out how to make it work. Do I have to rely on our users to activate this in their browsers or something?

Also, can anyone check out the javascript file in the hack I mentioned and see if they can figure out why I'm getting this error?

So there's the drawback. I can't really depend on my members to ensure they have the spell check feature. I thought this was a feature built in to vbulletin, not IE.

So, back to my original question - can I have someone with advanced coding knowledge look into the vbspell hack that I linked to above? The person who wrote the hack either doesn't have enough knowledge to help out or is just ignoring me. I've pinpointed the problem and he won't even look into it. He's answering everyone elses' questions but mine.

Can someone please help me out here - what are we supposed to do exactly when the person who writes the hack just ignores your request for help? I really could use the help of an experienced coder to help me find out why I'm receiving this Javascript error for this hack.
