Search not working?

Have been trying to search for a thread I had seen earlier about automactic welcome post but when using search this error pops up-
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 262144 bytes) in /www/vbulletin.org/htdocs/forum/search.php on line 997

Anyone seen it in 3.5?
