Force preview before posting new thread or reply
Developer Last Online: Nov 2013
As requested here.
This forces all users to preview new threads and replies before being able to submit them. Templates to edit: newpost_preview, newthread, newreply. Instructions are located in the attached file. I've not done screenshots as I have a live demo that you can use to test this. Guests can post in the welcome room. (I know the style is very messed up there but it is my testing stuff style and gets rather messy before the periodic total style revert.) Demo Link - http://www.peterska2.co.uk/index.php?styleid=71 If you use this please click Important information regarding support - 20/04/06 Due to time constraints and the amount of things that are being planned for future modifications, priority support will now be provided here. Support provided in this thread will be on an as and when basis. Show Your Support

Thanks!
But if one only does Step 1 & 3, people will be able to make replies in threads without been required to click preview, correct? |

Yes, Step Two controls replies and Step Three controls new threads, so it can be tweaked in that matter to however you want it to work for your individual needs.

Is there any way to make this not change how PMs are done?

In my instructions there is nothing there which affects PM's. I've just tested it with new PM's and replies and it doesn't affect them.

Weird, maybe I just looked too skimpily at it.
Thanks for the support. |
