disabling individual bbcodes

I asked over at vbulletin.com if there was a way to disable just the [attach] bbcode and they said it would require a hack. If anyone wants to create such a hack, or even one that allows you to disable any individual bbcodes instead of groups of codes, it would be a very helpful hack.

I would also like to point out that I did search before posting this and didn't see any hack like this already made. If there is one I apologize and would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction.
