rather than the memberlist be listed alphabetically, is there a way to list this via usergroup ? so all admins are first, them server admins, tagged members, standard members, etc (my own usergroups). ?

bump. interested in this as well, how can we extend the memberlist sorting to more than just the default stuff? I've added a column in my memberlist for the user title to be in a seperate column, now I want it to sort the usertitle also.

I am right there with you. I want to sort by number of posts at this point, as this is how it was done on our old Snitz board and people are used to it, but I would like to be able to choose any number of fields to sort by
