this might be weird but..
This might be a weird question but i am wondering if anyone knows the answer to this.. I just bought a leased license, i didnt have enough funds to buy an owned license. Plus, i had never used VB before so i wasnt too sure on if i was going to keep it or even like it. Here i am, 3 days later and i love it! Where my license is up in 1 year, does this mean my site gets shut down and then i have to start ALL over again OR can i pay up right before my lease is up and then it doesnt get shut down??? how does this work!

near the end of your license, you have the option to re-lease and continue, or to buy...actually you can buy at anytime. the vbulletin.com board has it explained pretty good in the members areas, where you downloade dyour copy. And they are very helpful at answering questions.

No, you will not lose any of your information or have to start over once you buy a fully owned license. When the time comes to renew your license, you can either re-lease it or buy it for the $160....

Within the first 30 days you can also upgrade to an owned license for an additional US$ 85
