How do I add an option to the AdminCP?

e.g. the 'phpAdsNew Banner Ads Integration'. It adds the 'Location of phpAdsNew' and 'Banner Dupe Check' configuration settings under the 'Server Settings and Optimizaton Options' of the 'vBulletin Options' in the Admin Control Panel.

How was this achieved? I mean, I've looked at the XML file, so I know WHAT was done, but not the how. I'm working on a product/plugin for my board, and I'd like to have the configuration information accessible from within the ACP, rather than having to have my admins modify the PHP code in the plugin.

Can anyone help me here?

Well, further research reveals that either it wasn't exactly what I needed, or I didn't fully understand it.

So, here's what I'm doing:

There are certain directories containing graphics (images/ranks, images/icons, to name two) that I need to be able to change according to the style the user has selected, because I want them to be anti-aliased into the background color. I've written a set of plugins that handle this for me, so all is good there. But I have to set the variables containing the style-specific paths by editing the plugin code.

What I'd like to be able to do is to make these settings part of the stylevar array by adding some options to the Main Styles settings of the AdminCP Styles Editor. Is there a way for me to do this?
