It all looks a bit misplaced. On the one hand you have the dull greys and the calm image of trees, then you have cartoony, bright images for some of the navigation and chat room.
I think you would benefit from new icons, or maybe just grayscaling them. |

the point about the blurry is when your screen is larger than the maximum width of the default table... you've made your picture to expand when we make our screen larger, not good at all... would be better to have a background to it so it is not expanded so not looks spanky.
