let me get this right, the software in the above link COPYS other peoples forums, so you can have there posts in your forum? If i ever found a site that copied my forums, i would sue the pants off them! Thats just asking for a lawsuit, i hope whom ever makes this software takes it off the market.

How much would you guys be willing to pay for that? Im curious, cuz I have have a old EZ board (not very popular) running, and I want to know what you guys would think was fair for something like that. Of course, I would need yet another vBulletin license.

I don't know. I would only be using it to import ezboards so they could then be shipped out again using co-branding type thing. $25 probably maybe a bit more but it would have to be changed from its current aim to an import (one off) program that also took account of user conflict, current thread and post numbers etc.

wouldn't be that much use really to just duplicate someones site. It would be pretty obvious you had done it, the member information wouldn't work, links would be wrong etc... i think anyone would notice very quickly and just go to the proper one. I think its legal potential is a lot more useful than its illegal personally.

duplicating posts from a forum is illegal? i doubt it...
