How to get the username of a user id

You use

$vbulletin->userinfo['username'] 


to get the username of the current logged in user, and you use

PHP Code:

$vbulletin->userinfo['userid'] 


to get the user id of the current logged in user.

But how can you get the username of a user, when you have the user id ?
