Manually adding end-time for polls

I would love someone to create a plugin/hack so that one (or even just admins) could specify the end TIME for polls, instead of just the end date. For instance, if I started a poll now (3:45pm EST - December 24th), but wanted it to end on December 31st @ 11:59pm, I would have to wait until 11:59 tonite to start the poll and set it @ 7 days. Instead, it would save me a ton of time (and sleep!) if I could just set the exact end time and start the poll whenever it is convenient for me.
