How to make vB Replies look like WordPress comments?
Does anything exist that would make replies to a vBulletin thread be accessible like WordPress comments are?
i.e., the replies to the basenote are shown by clicking on a word "Comments" or "Replies". When you scroll down, you see a series of base-notes, all with a link "Comments" or "Replies" that you can click on to see the replies. Here are 2 examples - from the top featured Wordpress blogs today: http://scobleizer.wordpress.com/ http://scripting.wordpress.com/ The articles (base topic) have the main focus, and the comments (replies) are visible only by clicking on the word "Comments". This type of formatting gives the articles center stage, and make the sometime inane comments from trolls less visible. Is this possible? Please say Yes ! I want to combine this with an article system for the left column on my web front page. So when the user clicks on the "Read More" link, they are taken to a page of base-notes (most recent articles). The replies are accessed by clicking on a link at the bottom of the basenote. Stachel |
