Multiple forum indexes

Hi,

i wanted to have multiple forum indexes and just wanted to ask if you see any possiblity for that.

Instead of linking to each category i would better love to have some categories on every index.

Let me give you an example for better understanding:

Let's say i have a forum about airplanes. I now have categories for Jet and prop airplane as well as some "general" categories like "internal" for news, "about the forum" and something.

From now on i would like to link to "Jet" and "prop" from the navbar and the "internal" part should be visible on both.
