Automatic generation of Forums

Hi

I am thinking of purchasing a license of VBulletin, but before I would like to know if the following functionality is available:

I run a website listing around 1000 products. Using the API I would like to automatically create a forum for each product, in order to use VBulletin as a comment system (linking each product page to its related posts and threads). Would this be possible? Is there a limit on the number of forums VBulletin can hold?

I've seen other sites that create one thread per item, but this is not what I want.

I have found the answer to this question myself.

Maybe it would be a good idea to make the code snippets and API documentation available to those thinking of buying the software. Perhaps a license issued for a limited period of time, or even making the software available for evaluation purposes would seem reasonable.
