[REQ] Another way to create attachments
Hi. I was wondering if theres a way to have this feature that when i (only admins) post any attachments whenever u make a new post or editting a post, it will have an option that will scan a specific folder where uploaded files are located my server , and then add it to the attachment in the post. It will then display me a list of files detected and ask me whether i should add these files to the attachment. I really dont like uploading with files that have a filesize greater than the limit set in the php.ini. (let say the file is 8megs but the limit is 7megs...). This feature is similiar to vBGallery "Upload files directly from the server" So is this possible? Thanks!

Create a link in the popup Attachment Manager to link to it, then output a url from that script which tells the user where the file is, then they can paste it in the "Upload from URL" textbox... Chris |
