Forum access granted by post count
Is there any way to admit someone to a forum based on post count? Meaning - I want to create a hidden forum that becomes unhidden to users with over 1000 posts....
Thanks in advance! |

create a usergroup for member with 1000+ posts then use the user promotion system to create a promotion for users to move to this usergroup when they reach 1000 posts. Then create the new forum and in the forum permissions deny access to guests, coppa, banned & awaiting moderation usergroups.

Xoxo Thank You!
I gave you hugs and kisses too fast! I am using vb3.0 - How do you create a usergroup for users with more than 1000 posts? Nevermind - promotions - DUH |

OK here is my deal.
What if a member does not want to be part of this group? I have some members that want to be part of group A and some part of group B, having 2 different forums. |

You can use secondary groups.
