Sig of the Week HACK ?

I was on a board yesterday and they had this hack. Guy custom made it and wouldnt give it out but maybe someone here could make one.

This is how the hack went.

There would be a room (can pick in admincp)

In that room you have the buttons at the top (new thread ect.) INCLUDING a new button named SOTW Thread.

You click the button and it opens a new thread but with table and other options to fill out maybe , time to complete, render, size, ect. + normal posting stuff.

People post sigs/iamges what ever.

and after you pick the winner (maybe poll) you click a button at the bottom of page "Winner"(only a group can click it maybe admin) like by the (reply, fast reply) you put his image link in the table box of the new thread and it posts the winner in that thread and locks it.

Then it automatically adds the Signature (winner) to the bottom of the vb main page in a scrolling box with all the past winners.

Very interesting hack. I think a ton of work but i know 100's would use it. There are soo many GFX sites using vBulletin this hack would go far!

i dont know how many coder will take this upon themselfes to create but aniother way to do it.

1. you will need a mod team maybe just one or two people to mod the area where you want the signatures to be.

2. install one of the award hacks.

now have your mods make the polled threads for the week. then when its over close it and the admin give out the awards.

i like the idea very much
but what about making it like HOTM
some groups give points to every sig and the most 5 sigs with points go to the contest and by voting in a poll a sig win and shows at the bottom of the fourm home
