How do i make Hover/MouseOver in the Header?

Hello everyone

I'm tired of getting my new header working. I have 6 grafic files (and 6 for the hover effect too), one big (the main header), one to extend, and 4 for one line under the header, the navigation (forum, vbradio, portal, ...). However i don't get it right. Could someone explain me please how 2 do
