Auto-create new thread after x posts

Auto-create new thread after a thread gets x # of posts.

Anyone willing to do this hack? I have a problem with threads getting way to large and am wondering if anyone has created this or is willing to. I can certainly offer assistance though I don't want to set out to do something if it's already been done.
