hi
i want to create a bbcode so that [page] will create apage break in the post but i am unsure where to start anyhelp would be great. maybe i need to make this a bit clearer, what i want to do is be able to split a single post across mulitiple pages, the best method i thought would be to use bbcode i am open to suggestions this is something i would really like to get to work can anyone please help me |

You would need a lot more than BBcode to do this as you would need to keep track of your current page number too.

i realise that but i am unsure where to start i guess i would have to edit showthread i might be wrong but any code snippets that might help me
i alos noticed while looking at vb gars that you have a system there where in tutorials that you can have different pages in 1 post that is excally what i'm looking for and would like you to really help me if that is possible? |

id love to, however its a lot more complex than just a bbcode set up. GARS uses a seperate file and several hooks to do what you are after - not much of a mini mod.
What are you trying to accomplish if you dont mind me asking? |

well i have a tutorials catalog system i am creating i got it to display the post find just wanted it to beable to show on seperate pages, i know this might be a complex hack but i would like to add it to my script, thanks for your help so far, shame you are unable to help more maybe someone else maybe able to help me thanks
