About the re-direction:

At a board I am developing, one of my developers did not like the fact that there were no more re-direction templates...

So I added a new field to the user table, and edited member.php, functions.php and user.php so that the member could decide whether to have re-direction templates or not - Think you could do that here?

It would stop the users who like re-direction templates from complaining

No serious hacking will be done here on vBulletin.org unless its deemed absolutely necessary as we plan on using vb3 very soon

It's time to get used to vB3, people. Remember, vB3 has NOT redirection pages. So get used to it.

vB3 may not - This is vB2 last time I checked...........

Ok so you are upgrading soon - What is to stop people from making a re-direct?

And since you hacked it to remove re-directs, this would technically be an improvement upon the hack

Xenon: you mind showing me how you removed the redirect? That link on the first page (rediirect hack) doesn't work with all browsers...

Which browsers does it not work with?
