thread password protected
the members on my board want to have a roleplaying "war" and they want to have each side have a password protected thread for planning and such. But I don't want to create password protection forums just for each of their threads, so is there a way to create password protected threads? Thanks for any help.

I wouldn't think it would be too hard. The easiest way would be to have an admin start the thread and password protect it. Would you want the password encrypted or is plaintext ok?

Sorry, but I can't find the option for admin to start and password protect a thread?
I run a website for young girls and want to setup a "help center" for teen problems, but only those with password are allowed to enter. I used Ikonboard (cgi) before, and here it was easy to set a password for a forum.... how do I do it here? |

That's for forums, not threads. |

Conceptually, it's easy. However remember all the other places the thread table is referenced, including the search engine.
