Quick Reply Box

Here's an easy one, it barely took 4 minutes to do. :china:
This hack will add a quick replying box at the bottom of all threads, only if the user has permission to reply, so when you need to reply to something real quickly you don't need to click the Post Reply button and wait for the page to load.

Instructions are in the attached .txt file, and if you want a demo... just look below.

NOTE: For the vB 2.3.2 version please see this post.

Extras:

• If you want users who have the Use Email Notification option ON, to automatically subscribe to threads they reply to with this hack, see this post.
  
• If you want to add an option for each user to turn this feature on and off, please see this post.

I've got a mother of a problem.

When I have a stuck thread and use the quick reply, it makes that thread not stuck anymore.

Anybody know how to fix this?

UPDATE: Oh yeah, it also unlocks threads that are locked.

I have one of my forums excluded from default autoparsing. Can anyone tell me how I can also apply this exclusion to the quickreply box? It seems to ignore my hack, which is this.

Replace this in newthread.php and newreply.php

if (!isset($parseurl)) {
    $parseurlchecked="CHECKED";
  } 


With this:

if ((!isset($parseurl)) && ($foruminfo[forumid]!=22)) {
      $parseurlchecked="CHECKED";
  } else {
        $parseurlchecked = '';
  } 


It's pretty slick, except for the quickreply. I assume it's because of this line?

<input type="hidden" name="parseurl" value="yes">

[edit] Nope, actually, I just tried setting it to no, and it still parsed.
But if I remove that line, it stops parsing globally. Hmmmm

sorry, but this thread is a little too long to search through.

Does anyone know if this can be locked to specific parts of the forums.

I want to be able to use this hack in specified forums on the board.

That would also solve my problem, if I could just exclude the quickreply from one forum. I'd much rather fix it as stated above though.
