ok im confused does the hosting come with the bulletin board if so will someone give me some info. Im not going to spend hundreds of dollars on a simple php board if im going to be put on a rollercoaster.

No hosting does not come with vBulletin

You don't neccessarily need to spend a lot of money on it. You can find hosting that can support a vB at a very affordable rate. Try posting on webhostingtalk.com and asking in the request section.

If you search around or even host it yourself you can easily run vB at less than $100/year for a small site.
