vbProArcade v1.0 Flash Games Development Thread

This thread is intended to provide support for those who wish to find new games for their Arcades, or wish to assist in the development of new games for vbProArcade, or wish to modify existing, open-source Flash games for use with vbProArcade.

Note to vbulletin.org moderators: I could not find an appropriate place for this thread, other than the Beta Hacks forum, so here it is. If you feel this should be moved somewhere else, by all means do so. An additional reason I posted it here was because, to my knowledge, only registered users can view this thread, which may contain hack code at one point or another.

For the hack itself, you will need to see this thread. The Flash Development thread that you see here is just that, and should only be for the discussion of creating/modifying games to work with vbProArcade. Any discussion of or support for the hack itself will be conducted in the other thread.

For documentation on how to modify a game to work with vbProArcade, please see the vbProArcade documentation, which will always be contained in this post. I will try and update this post whenever I update the documentation itself.

A list of current games can you find in the second post.

Before you modify ANY game's source or post it here, you must MAKE SURE that you have the author's permission to modify and redistribute the code, compiled or otherwise.

As games are modified and posted, I will update this post to list them, so that people running vbProArcade may find and install them more easily.

The roulette doesn't seem to work with the store/bank hack but it's a step ahead ofcourse. It would be nice to share this.

That admin obviously hacked the .fla files himself to make it work with vB.

I have that pong game working now. I shall zip it up later but i can't update the admin section of the general options: 'Use Champions System' .... if i click yes it stays 'NO' This has nothing to do with that pong game but it began when i moved the whole forum to the directorie /forum. Maybe a permission thing?

NuclioN I have to ask you to remove the Pong game. This game was made by a developer on my forums and was not meant to be submitted here, at least not without my permission first. I may decide to release it but not before putting in a link to my site. I don't mind sharing the other games but this one was made from scratch.

To show that I'm not making this up, this is my forum: http://forums.thegaminguniverse.com and here the thread that contains the announcement of the game and the promotion of the creator: http://forums.thegaminguniverse.com/...?threadid=3824. Now look at the end of the game, it says "Made by amaasbier for Gaming Universe".

Ok Dark Jim i've removed it. I did not say that it was my work though but nevertheless it's a great game and it worked well so i placed the code. Sure you and your developers deserve all the credits and i hope you will share it with us some day.

NuclioN, if you did not write the code for the game, then you shouldn't release it without permission of the programmer, unless it is public domain.
