Default [request] Add Events to Calendar Easily

*waves*

I'd like to be able to add events to the calendar a little easier than the way it's currently set. For example, I'd like to enter "Club Closed" every monday for the month of February - but I don't want to have to do it one day at a time.

Would it be possible to have choices? Such as ...

"Frequency - first, second, third, fourth, every" and then an "end" date so you could easily enter the information once, have it start on the date you choose in the frequency you choose and it will end on the date you specify?

one could then easily enter their start date, Event Description, and have it posted on the calendar "every" "monday" set to end "feb 31" of the same year?

I've attached a rough graphic of what I'm interested in. It's just an image edited so it's not perfect, but it might help out with what I"m interested in. ((The dropdown number box should be actually three boxes for the 'end date'))

Anyone think this is possible? If it's been made, please point me in the right direction. *calen* didn't turn up any search.

*blush* Surely someone wants to try this hack? And I promise I'm not calling you Shirley.

I realize that vB3's calendar has some of these functions which I request, but who knows when it will be released? And I don't particularly care for the general overall design, I'm just interested in having a bit easier of a time adding events.

Anyone? At all?

*coughs* I would be willing to negotiate a fee if anyone is interested in making this lil' addon/modification of the calendar.

I won't discuss fee here, but if you're interested contact me via email/aim at "thecharmedgirl@hotmail.com" or via PRIVATE MESSAGE, of course!

*cough* I'm going to bump this again. I know it's been requested before, but it sure would be a grand deal if someone could hack OR point me in the right direction to make it.

It seems that an events calendar in PHP is hard to come by. I've scoured the net looking for one, and all I can find is ones with just calendars...

I'm looking for something along these lines:
http://www.floridastatefair.com/even...Event&RoleID=1

If ANYONE wants to write something like this, I will be glad to pay for it.

I would be interested in this hack as well. . .
