Tetris High Scores--Arcade Hack
Ok, I'm just wondering if my users are extrodinary tetris players or what.
The high score is now at 1,636,592. What is the high score on your site with the Tetris game in the Arcade hack? Thanks!

So unless you have some extremely sad ++++er on your board i'd be VERY suspicious hehe... What version of the arcade are you running too?

for us,
730,177 for the best ! but the second is ... 123,025  one guy is specialist, and i was obliged to ask him to reduce their scores when he play tetris because of he was killing the game (IMO he's capable to reach the million, already done with the precedent hack, the John Warwick one )

Top score is 1,890,184 for my arcade (3 users over 1.5 M), so I don't think your users have cheated, or both ours have. :P
EDIT: I forgot to mention that we're using the latest version of vbProArcade. :laugh:

Someone has recorded a 1.6 million score in Tetris on Shadows, which is (so far) the only site out there running Beta 2 of vbProArcade with the security features enabled.
 I am hoping that once the source for these suckers is out, people will come up with versions of Tetris that allow for more stable higher scoring and some more interesting levels.

Yea, it is closed right now. I am modifying the structure of the database in order to accept a few future code upgrades, stuff that won't be in this release.
I want people who install Beta 2 to be able to upgrade to Beta 3 (or Release 1 or whatever) without trashing their score tables, which they will have to do when going from Beta 1 -> Beta 2. There are just too many changes to do a normal upgrade. One of the main things I am adding "future expansion" for is to handle score grouping, which will allow an admin to define regular intervals for the boards to be reset (days, months, years, whatever) as well as define special events. Those scores will not count towards the current group, but they will still be there for people to view. Like an all-time records page, view the results of a tournament, etc.

I've figured out how to get those high scores in Tetris. I just scrored ove 600,000.
Level 10 goes on forever. You just have to clear those nasty ones in the midle and then you can sit there all day playing. It took me almost two hours so there must be some really sad people around to get over a million.
