I am sure there are customers you need to respond to over at the photopost site/s..
Actually, everything is going great. But thanks for your concern.

Gee, thanks, Dad. Got any more words of wisdom? I mean this is a public forum after all and if this was just a little conversation between two people they could take if offline, right?
heh, if you're married and your wife does a job that pays less than you, you go call her a leech and see how a 'sensative ego' really falls into the equation that is this debate
I call them "consumers", my wife and three little girls that is (fourth due this month).
Its why some rude people might think that, yes. Fortunately we have a low percentage of folks like that (but even when you have thousands of customers its going to be a handful).
You didn't pay for the privledge of bring a prick (not that I am referring to you, of course, just in general making an observation - some people think because they paid for software they are entitled to be rude). Kinda like the guy who doesn't want to pay for installation service but then expects you to log onto his server to see why his IM doesn't work, KWIM?
As to this issue, my point is this is a community site and Amy isn't trying to sell you anything, so she certainly doesn't have to measure her responses to be careful not to offend your sensative ego.
It's posts like this that are no better than the ones who are demeaning and belittling. You as a support person should know better than to make posts like this. This is why vb.org has gotten itself in the postion that it has. We all need to step back and talk to one another the same way we would like to be talked to instead on carrying on like we have been.

Sorry, I forgot my smiley. All is said in the spirit of "razzing" one another.
Actually, we haven't had a problem with "pissy" support people for a while - I did have some anger management issues about a year back; but those were with a select few people who made it their mission to be a royal PITA. Fortuantely we brought on some very calm support people.
I wasn't trying to make this a person debate - if you read my first post it was simply a commentary on how people analyze every word a mod (or someone associated to the site) writes without considering that the person may just be expressing their own opinion.

While I don't disagree about the overall tone - I wasn't referring to anyone on this site. I was talking in general that alot of people have an attitude that they are allowed to be rude - indeed, that they have the right to be rude just because they purchased a license to a product. I was simply stating that the license doesn't absolve the owner of the need to be polite when dealing with mods/support people in general.
I wasn't attacking anyone. I apologize if it came across that way.
