# What it does is simple... if your users have an avatar, it will show in the navigation bar of their browser instead of the default favicon. If you visit a member's profile who has an avatar, this one will show up!
... see the screenshot for an example, or browser nexialys.net for a live version.
# How to present this to your members... in your own words. but you can start a contest that the best avatar will win something, or make a poll for the best one, etc... it encourage interaction between members!
... and the avatar is good so the members know they are part of something!
update: will now show user's avatar on member profile, blog and album. if you know some places where it would worth to show, only personal pages i forgot, just tell!
update #2 (july 31): now you can see your favicon besides your Welcome message in the toplinks... like in facebook !!!
update #3 (aug. 1st) corrected bug on page display inside blog section when no user selected...
instructions are great. does what it says. instead of your favicon.iso being displayed, your avatar is displayed or if you are looking at a members profile, blog, album their avatar will be displayed instead of the sites favicon
Btw, I had posted the wrong vb version earlier which I have since edited with the correct version. My vb version is 4.2.0 patch level2 (and not 4.0.2).
Also this is really cool and I hope we can figure out what my issue is. Thanks for you time when looking into this!
FOUND YOUR PROBLEM...
it is not related to MY product, but your theme which is coded like .... yeah...
problem is that the favicon code is supposed to be located in the header, just below the DOCTYPE... your theme is completely messed up, and your code is not loading. my code is transforming the favicon code when generating the header... but clearly your code is having the favicon in the wrong place, so it's not loading properly... can't help there, sorry!
Why is it that the minority who hate things are always the most vocal?
that's the kind of things i can not handle on my side... rofl until you give me the administration of your site, you're the one to write the rules. are these people the one who paid for the license, hosting and design of your site? are these the ones who manage the site and make it a living pleasure?... usually not... little icons are just little icons... if they are not happy and threat to leave, just for an icon, i suppose it does not worth to keep them on the site as they are just a menace!
anyway, i think that way... my features are enhancements chosen by the admins... the site is made by the admins... if you register on Coca-Cola's forum and you whinne that you do not like the white/red colors of the forum, who the hell will comply with your tastes ?!.. they will say "go the f*ck off, go play at rainbow.com"...

I'll see if I can get it taken care of. Thanks a million for spending a little time looking into this for me!
if installed, the album.php does not work as it should be.
try to watch any picture in your gallery
tested with 4.1.9
You are 100% correct, I just got a load of my members telling me how messed up it is when on the album's page.
Had to un-install it now.
Will wait for a fix
that i need to investigate... this tool is just supposed to interact with other parts of any feature inside vB... or some parts of it are coded like crap and i mess them up... rofl
Hi, great mod - just one small question: Can this be set-up so it can be switched off for some users/user groups? or perhaps configuring it so that certain users will have the forum default icon instead?
