[OzzModz] Log Selected Members Login/Logout IP
Developer Last Online: Dec 2021
Another mod brought to you by,
Here is a small modification you can use to log selected users or usergroups IP's when they login or log out of your site. Q. Why do I need such a thing, you ask? A. Sometimes members, or you and your staff, feel their accounts are being compromised and without the hacker posting etc, no IP's are logged and there is no proof. Now you will have a log for such a thing. Also it was requested by, Loget, here Log IP addresses. It is a simple installation, upload the file, ozzmodz_log_login.log, in the UPLOAD folder, to your forum root, then import the product XML, product-ozzmodz_log_login_ip You can edit the options under the settings, OzzModz: Log Login/Logout IP Settings Complete Feature List

A suggesting instead saving in a log file if we show user his previous ip and present ip in forum home then user can easily undertsand who logged his account before.
OR Another better option is show last 5 login ips. |

thanks for this mod, but can you make the store data in Database instead of file. so can be open the log from admincp and sorting data with ip, or date, or username (see how many ip use the member for that account)
also can clear the log from database, also can clear log for exact time only ... |

TBH I avoided putting it in the db don't need unnecessary stuff being stored in there. If you stay on top of the log you will see patterns quickly.

Im getting a ton of "unregistered" lines in the log file.
I have no userIDs entered and about 6 usergroups selected, unregistered is not one of them so I don't know why they are being added to the log file. The time stamp also seems to be off 03-11-2014,11:48 PM, 03-11-2014,11:48 AM 03-11-2014,03:48 PM 03-11-2014,11:48 PM 03-11-2014,11:48 AM 03-11-2014,11:48 AM 1) Times are switching from AM to PM 2) there's a random 3:48 time listed (is this based on members time zones not the site time zone? |

doesn't seem to be working for me. Had a member login 2 days in a row, send PMs, but no posts and he's not listed in the log file.

Is his user ID set to be recorded, or is he in a group set to be recorded?

Here's the kicker though: if I choose "No" for the Product Is Active option, it works as intended. Barring the fact that the plugin is not deactivated as it should be, the IPs are logged correctly just for the usergroups selected in the AdminCP. However, the time reported for the logins is still out of whack regardless if the product is set to active or not. E.g (time should be 09:51 for all of them): 04-09-2014,09:51 04-09-2014,09:51 04-09-2014,08:51 04-09-2014,09:51 04-09-2014,08:51 04-09-2014,06:51 04-09-2014,09:51 04-09-2014,06:51 Glitch in the Matrix? |
