Hello pals,

Im looking for a "low" cost server that allows me to deliver big ammounts of data transfer. I'll be basically using this server as a download server, so I can releave my other servers for mysql, images and php processes. So this server wont need to be running a MySQL server or anything, possible just php.

I am looking for at least 2TB bandwidth and 100/200Gb storage capacity.
Let me know if you find something like what I am looking for.

To this, zero down time and sites are running smooth.

I just had like almost 1 full day of down time with them.

I can vouch for the total HD space and bandwidth, it is a riidiculous amount.

While I don't rely on my sites for livelihood, it still does suck when they have gone down. It's not often, but I don't know of any service that is 100%.

Do you have a small board or big board?

Dreamhost is a pain if your serverload is high

I'm using a netfirms clusterered server. It took about a week to get it running ok as the support isn't exactly a1 but it is pretty much sorted now. http://www.netfirms.com/enterprise-hosting/ not a bad price for the bandwidth etc.

I changed to Netfirms Enterprise One service and it cured all of the problems that GoDaddy said was Vbulletin's fault. Very satisfied so far.

I've been using Knownhost for about a year now and have to say they have the best support team around. They specialize in VPS servers but have good reseller plans too. I highly suggest them

Well we charge around .30/cents a GB for dedicated bandwidth. If we put you on a 100mbit port you can expect to get 100mbit if you need it, not bursts but constant. We offer bandwidth separately priced for .30/GB or in bulk at 140/1000gb. Thats dedicated bandwidth and not oversold. Its a mid range price for premium bandwidth. If you want to run some speed tests send me an email I will send you a link, (not sure if im allowed to post it here) steve@lighti.net is my email.

Id bet the shirt off my back if places are offering you 7402343209 gbs of bandwidth is highly oversold, and they do not guarantee your speeds or ability to push that bandwidth. They offer that amount because they know the majority of people will not come close to pushing that much bandwidth doing legal stuff. Unless they run a HUGE site.. Even a forum for 10k members will be lucky to push a terabyte a month.. So when buying bandwidth and connectivity you have to decide which is more important to you. Quality of the bandwidth or amount of bandwidth. If you running a popular forum, id suspect you would want the best quality because your members want the site to scream, they dont want pages to take forever to load. They want keep coming back if the site constantly is lagging.

It seem to be a inexpensive hosting plan.
How about the speed connection ?
I am in Asia, I concern the connection speed .
