A very nice style! The header, scheme and bevelled cells all work quite well. Although your postbit seems to be a bit messy in terms of all the user info placed in there. I think you need a better way of arranging that. Also, you're starting off with quite a few too many forums for a new community. Condense, and expand as you get more activity. Otherwise, a great style.

Tony, initially I'd agree with you on that. Keep in mind though, this isn't truly a 'new' site. It's a revamp after a couple months downtime. At the time it went down we had over 500 members and goodness knows how many posts. The forum structure we have now is a direct continuation of what was there at that time, since most of the primary members will be returning. We already knew what we wanted. Each forum has a purpose. I'm not sure condensing is really possible since these forums have very different permissions based on content type. But thanks anyway. |
