First, This is not a portal

I think this is a nice addon for a portal like vbAdvanced or vbPortal.

It is an intermediate page between a portal and the forums.

1) Unregistered users see the Latest threads section.
2) Registered Users see the Subscribed Forums as well, but the entire list of forums until they subscribe to at least one forum.
3) Registered Users that have subscribed to at least one forum.

Well, I wanted to set up something where my users can see recent topics, and they're subscribed boards all in one place.

Someday I also plan on moving a buddy list and or a PM console to this page as well, but I've been really busy as of late.

Not sure about the PM console though, There is alot to that one

I'm a bit of a nub...

I want to create a box on my sidebar (http://geekvalley.com) that shows Latest threads / posts.

I don't want to add all the features this hack has. What code should I add?
