Sorry to bump an old thread here, but I need some help with this.
![]() This hack is working great with one exception. The super mods can't delete at all, and the admins can, but only in the forums where the default permissions are set. In my private forums where I have overriden the default permissions for Admins, they can't delete now. Any suggestions?? |

Okay. I noticed today while testing that when I set certain mods to moderate certain forums that they can delete admin and super mod posts as well, including my [super admin] posts. I can't see a way to fix this except by turning off their ability to delete threads and posts.
The tricky part is I'd lke for my mods to be able to delete posts and threads of all other users below them, just not anyone above and the same for super mods vs admins. Is there a possibility to create a hack for this? Or better yet, since I'm a n00b - am I doing all this right or am I overlooking an option/permission somewhere? Thanks! |
