June BOTM Nominations

This is the nomination thread for Board of the Month of June 2010.

Let me reiterate the rules for this thread:

• Only post nominations or seconds, no chatter.
• All seconds are to be placed in 1 post, with a max of 3.
• All seconds should include the word "second" or "+1".
• All posts must be in English.

Please abide by these rules or your post will be removed.





Nominations will be accepted until the 4th June 2010.

When nominating please post the site name, URL to the forum, a short description what makes your board stand out from default vBulletin, and a reason for nomination that will motivate others to second the nomination. If the staff feels that a nomination post is too promotional it will be edited accordingly.

Any sites without a name, URL, description and reason for nomination will NOT be entered into the poll. Please ensure that your nomination is in the format:

When seconding sites, please ensure that you use the same post for the maximum of 3 allowed seconds. Any seconds not located in your first seconding post will not be counted. Description: A mainly off topic (general discussion) forum.
Reason for Nomination: JUOT AKA "The Last Exit on the Internet" was born in June 2008 after the popular JeepsUnlimited.com website decided to ax their entire off-topic section, responsible for half its total traffic. Today with nearly 1,000 members, a quarter of which are active, we have over three-quarter-million posts. The main forum is "Off Topic" which you must register to see or post. There are a number of on-topic forums that are public as well as some off-topic forums besides the main that can be viewed. The styles are fairly basic but each subforum has it's own icon and there is a custom navbar with icons. For those that prefer there are faster loading 'basic' and 'very basic' themes, along with a dark theme, a mobile-PDA text based theme, and it is also Tapatalk compatible for mobile devices. We have implemented the Gameroom and an extensive arcade, forum store, among other add ons. We also have some very unique banner ads in the rotation, including my favorite, "Wolf Shirt Depot". Oh and the main reason is we this smiley... Full Military Power!!! (no images allowed... sigh)
