Insulting me will not get that tab up there, had you said skeptical, then yes i am. I simply made a suggestion which benefits the community and the buck (unfortunately) stops with you and the politics that go on behind the scenes in getting things done. You said that changes would be made when 3.7 comes along and here we are still at that same old stagnated stage were nothing is done.

I go on actions, not words paul and when you are told things will get done a year ago then yes we will be a little skeptical and take whatever you say with a pinch of salt.

@marco: In otherwords a graphics tab will not be implemented? unless i'm mistaken what other independant resources are there that warrant their own tab? The graphics area (for such a large site) is way behind compared to the attention and the rich features the modification area gets.

Whatever alternative plans you have (because it clearly shows that a graphic tab will not be implemented) your just cutting your nose despite your face.

Anyway, what would life be like if everyone was so easily pleased. Promising, maybe though we can only await for what solution you actually do implement.

thanks I guess.

We are realizing, thanks to your suggestion, that there are some resources here floating around here displaced and an additional tab could house such resources. These include Graphics and BB-Codes.

If you have a certain argument as to why Graphics needs its own tab, that we are willing to hear it, but right now it appears that custom bbcode and graphics are both in the same boat.

hum, Custom BBCodes have to use their own thread prefix, that would be REALLY simple to implement.

a new tab, is what, 0.640k in size? with a simple href ??

why always argument in clutering when it's just a question of 45 bits of code ? even in it's most narrwoed width, the theme can host 2 or 3 more tabs without clutering.

Well thats how it goes, real life takes preference. Changes are made when we have the time. JFYI, 3.7 will never be implemented here now. If we change, it will be to at least 3.8.

thanks I guess.
I knew the negativity wouldnt be far away. Do you really think that this helps your suggestion get looked at ?

BTW, there is no "Politics" in getting things done, just real life which takes preference over changes to a web site.

Ridiculous! It seems like such a simple change would never warrant a 7-day discussion. It's simple to implement, and since it has not been implemented yet - the natural assumption is that there may be a little bit of behind the scenes politics taking place - Just crazy actually. And the fact that one doesn't to much prefer a contributing Member of the Community does not negate the fact the the suggestion made is a wonderful one and should/could have been implemented months ago. After all -- whether we have a life outside of vBulletin.org or not (whether real life takes presidence or blablabla...) -- isn't the premise of the website to offer an easily navigatible interface for all Members so that we may share in the sharing process that the .org is all about? ((sigh...))

I can certainly understand how someone could be negative & sceptical in regards to making a suggestion here, as 99% of them are shot down (often rudely) almost before the suggestion maker has even clicked the "Submit New Thread" button LOL --- Sadly - I can definitely understand too how some Members would become jaded about the entire vBulletin.org experience... Interestingly enough - it's a cause and effect principle that trickles right on down from the top... Nothing more, nothing less.

How do you know that the internal politics aren't on how to properly and most efficiently add a new tab to cover what is needed? Or over what specifics should go there... Not everything is necessarily do it against don't do it.

Oh-oh... isn't one of those threads that got closed every week because we find out that we can't agree on nothing?

Why we don create 'switch day' ? complainers become Mods and Mods[S] keep complaining[/S] become users

I don't know - but judging from that smart@ss reply - we can generally be assured that I'm more correct than incorrect. And I'd appreciate that you keep the little infraction to yourself.
