Ridiculous! It seems like such a simple change would never warrant a 7-day discussion. It's simple to implement, and since it has not been implemented yet - the natural assumption is that there may be a little bit of behind the scenes politics taking place - Just crazy actually. And the fact that one doesn't to much prefer a contributing Member of the Community does not negate the fact the the suggestion made is a wonderful one and should/could have been implemented months ago. After all -- whether we have a life outside of vBulletin.org or not (whether real life takes presidence or blablabla...) -- isn't the premise of the website to offer an easily navigatible interface for all Members so that we may share in the sharing process that the .org is all about? ((sigh...))
I can certainly understand how someone could be negative & sceptical in regards to making a suggestion here, as 99% of them are shot down (often rudely) almost before the suggestion maker has even clicked the "Submit New Thread" button LOL --- Sadly - I can definitely understand too how some Members would become jaded about the entire vBulletin.org experience... Interestingly enough - it's a cause and effect principle that trickles right on down from the top... Nothing more, nothing less.
Jacquii.
How do you know that the internal politics aren't on how to properly and most efficiently add a new tab to cover what is needed? Or over what specifics should go there... Not everything is necessarily do it against don't do it.
