Make a list of all components you want to keep using, including information as how many Watt your Power Supply can handle, and go to a computer shop for advise.

I would love to do that.. Im afraid its taking the 2 two year olds with me that is a fright. LOL (one is blind).

I did call my local place yesterday and the guy was kinda rude on the phone. He asked me "whats an all in one mother board, what do you mean"?

I think I may just take it in tomorrow morning. I'll only have one 2 year old then. LOL

Your best bet would be to source the exact one off eBay. I can bet you that all computer stores that you go to will not have a compatible motherboard, considering that your Athlon 950 uses AMD's (very) old Socket A (s462) architecture.

The socket might not be so important, as the old motherboard had the processor permanently attached, so a new processor is needed anyway.

It might be difficult to find a motherboard that will work with all others stuff like the memory used or power consumption.

Thanks Marco for pointing that out. My suggested solution still stands though. The cheapest route to go is to find the exact same one through eBay. Otherwise, there goes that magic $100 budget.

LOL.. I looked high and low for my exact one on ebay and there wasn't one that was just like it... close but not alike. There was one that was an Elitegroup but it wasn't near as good as the one I have. Less expansion slots etc.. I'll have to keep on the look out.

I did do some googling on the broken connector and read something about adding a video card with its own connector. but I doubt that the mother board would even support such a thing. Besides. I think I'm using that slot already for the usb.. clueless.

LOL Adrian at "mother board" HAha hadn't crossed my mind LOL.
