As for bellsouth, they are just plain crap. Horrible speeds altogether, its basically just a step up from dial-up. |

They don't block anything or limit anything where I live. I have had them for a few years and love it. DSL will most likely be much slower then cable, if you can handle that then the dsl will probably be cheaper.

I'd go back to dial-up or tin cans and a string before I ever gave Comsuck one copper cent. That is the most unorganized and incapable company that I have done business with.
Bellsouth is the next best thing that is available to me. DSL is limited to hub area-closeness proximity. I vote Bellsouth from personal experience with both. Just waiting on Verizon FiOS here in Podunk, TN. |

I have had both Bellsouth and Comcast.
With Comcast, I had nothing but problems, constant outages. Bellsouth is really good (I have the 6.0 speed). I have them now. Very fast (although Comcast is a little faster) and very reliable (no outages). Bellsouth doesn't block anything; Comcast doesn't block anything but they have recently severely slowed p2p and some bit torrent (google search) I would recomment Bellsouth over Comcast |

Unless you have experienced this directly then it's not an issue, I have had them for years and they block or slowdown nothing...
