Which types of forum software have you used?

I've used ezboard, UBB.classic, invision board and then vBulletin.

My very first forum was a UBB ages ago

Then long time nothing.
When I feeled like opeining a forum again it was a PhpBB.
After a while many members asked if vB was possible (most of us knew vB from an other forum where we used to hang out) and after grabbing together the $$$ for the license we moved from PhpBB to vBulletin.

And that one is running now for over three years

phpBB first then switched to vBulletin, was really amazed at all the fantastic features compared to phpBB

I started with phpBB then went to Invisionboard (I switched to Invision right before they went paid) then vBulletin. I've had vB longer than I had the other two and I'm absolutely loving it!

I know there are a ton of different kinds of forums but these are the three I've used and I probably won't use anymore since third time's a charm and I found the one I really love.

Over the years, I've used:

phpBB, MyBB, Burning Board, YaBB! (and its derivatives), vBulletin 2, and vBulletin 3. Used Burning Board for the longest time until I decided to just shell out $160 and get a vB.
